Century Health Systems offers a variety of programs designed for pre-schoolers to teenagers. Whether your child wants to learn First Aid, become Cybersafe or learn how to set goals and understand the actions needed to achieve them, we have a class that will meet all your needs!

A Girl’s Way

A dynamic course designed specifically for girls, which covers such topics as:

  • Setting boundaries with friends and acquaintances
  • Increasing critical thinking skills
  • Drug and alcohol awareness
  • Identifying potentially dangerous relationships
  • Raising self-esteem

Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (BLAST)

Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training is an American Academy of Pediatrics course that covers how to handle the basics of infant and childcare; how to react responsibly to medical emergencies and injuries; perform first aid for common childhood injuries and illnesses; and set up and run a babysitting business.

Ages: 11-13
Duration: 3 hours

Bullyproofing

This program is designed to be preventative and proactive so that children can avoid being bullied. If they are bullied, they will learn how to stop it. In an interactive, non-threatening manner, children learn how to become “bully-proofed.” We focus on identifying bullying, understanding why it occurs, acting on bullying, and learning about cyberbullying and prevention.

Cybersafe – Internet Safety

Cybersafe covers the topic of internet safety through interactive, non-threatening and entertaining lessons. Participants learn how to stay safe while enjoying the freedom of the internet.

First Aid for Kids

Kids learn effective skills to respond positively when someone is hurt. They learn about wound care, choking relief, allergies and other important First Aid topics.

Go for your goals

In this course, children learn how to get the things they want…and have fun doing it through goal setting and visualization. Participants go through the steps of defining goals and understanding the actions needed to achieve them.

Home alone safety

Children learn telephone- and door-answering techniques, internet safety, accident and fire protection and first aid techniques. We also talk about how children should manage their time when home alone for short periods of time. The class includes a variety of teaching methods and includes a video and role playing.

SafeKids

This active one-hour Kidproof SafeKids program is a fun and entertaining way for kids to learn about injury prevention and how to safely respond to an emergency. SafeKids delivers valuable skills to participants in an entertaining and memorable way. SafeKids focuses on preventing common household, playground, and traffic injuries and teaches kids about EMS and calling for help.

Ages: 5-7
Duration: 1 hour

socialsklz:-)

Through this fun, interactive workshop, socialsklz teaches lessons including greetings and introductions, making a good first impression, starting conversations, patience and thoughtfulness, self-control, respect and consideration and dining  skills.  The skills mastered are not only empowering, but build confidence and self-esteem, paving the way to a more fruitful life. The program has been widely touted and featured extensively in the media.
