American Heart Association Courses BLS for Healthcare Providers Designed for medical and health professionals as well as lifeguards, this course covers adult, child, and infant CPR, two-person CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) instruction.
Heartsaver CPR This modular course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child, and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. The program is divided into three different courses:
CPR for Family and Friends -Adult and Pediatric This modular program teaches rescuers CPR and relief of choking, the American Heart Association adult ‘chain of survival’ method, and how to recognize signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, and choking in adults. It also demonstrates the American Heart Association pediatric infant and child ‘chain of survival,’ method, how to recognize signs of choking in infants and children, how to reduce risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and how to prevent common fatal injuries in infants and children.
Heartsaver First Aid & CPR This course, which can be taken with or without CPR, teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical service personnel arrive. It provides a complete health and safety training solution for those who need First Aid training, and covers general principles of first aid, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies such as bites and stings, heat and cold emergencies, and poison emergencies.
Heartsaver Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Learning to use an AED is highly intuitive and surprisingly simple. Ideal for those seeking AED certification, coaches, or fitness instructors, this course covers the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an AED, including:
National Safety Council Courses Pediatric First Aid, CPR, & AED No matter how careful you are, children get hurt. We can help you handle the usual bumps and bruises, as well as more serious injuries and sudden illnesses. The National Safety Council's Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED programs cover the latest techniques for emergency care and offer practical safety tips for preventing injuries.

Blood Borne Pathogen Training This course is designed for businesses and includes a video and discussion of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Blood Borne Pathogen Standard. OSHA mandates the training for all employees who have potential exposure to blood borne disease.
Disaster First Aid The only first aid course specifically designed for disasters, it covers the common sense techniques that have been proven to save the most lives in multi-injury events. The course content is clear, easy to grasp, and accessible to a range of students, from teens to those 65 and over.
